Save the date - we will be performing on Saturday 11th July 2026 at St George’s Church, Kemptown, for a celebration of resilience and unity through song.
Come and join us!
Local LGBTQ+ communities, allies and supporters all came together to mark IDAHOBIT - the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, on Sunday 17th May outside the Brighton Unitarian Church in the heart of Brighton.
This year’s global theme was “At the heart of democracy”, reminding us that LGBTQ+ equality, safety and dignity are not separate from democracy. They are part of what democracy must protect.
Speakers included:
Cass Hoskins (she/her) - a trustee and brand director for Trans Pride Brighton.
Gary Pargeter (he/him) - the founder and Service Manager of Lunch Positive.
Leslie Clarke (he/him) - CEO of Pride Community Foundation and publisher of Scene Magazine.
Natalie Collins (she/her) - member of Older and Out.
Gina Keegan (She/Her) - Rainbow Chorus member and lifelong activist
Eric Page (he/him) - Rainbow Chorus member and a local government officer at Brighton & Hove City Council and LGBTQ+ Workers Forum.
