The choir had a blast on Saturday evening 29th June 2024 with Pergolesi and Pimms - truly a concert of two halves with the first part a rendition of Tim Pratt's arrangement of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, accompanied by a string quartet from the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra and Olly Parr on piano. The second half showcased the choir's more usual mix of summery classics and pop songs.
The set included:
Stabat Mater, Bring Me Sunshine, Mr Blue Sky, May It Be, As Torrents In Summer, You Are My Sister, Angel, Total Eclipse Of The Heart, Two songs with RC+ Livin’ On A Prayer and Those Were The Days, Fix You, Bohemian Rhapsody, Aquarius/Let The Sunshine, This Is Me, and Go West
Thank you to everyone behind the scenes who made it happen, and of course thanks to our wonderful audience! See you for our winter concert in December!
